Dr. Martens for Christmas

With Dr. Martens Philippines' recent store opening at The Fort Strip (see previous post), it has gained so much publicity, which I am not surprised of really because Dr. Martens has been on the top of its game since it started out in the '60s.

Everybody remembers their first pair! Having Dr. Martens here in the Philippines is big dream come true for me because I have been yapping about buying my first pair ever since I got into fashion that is why I promised to myself that no matter what I will get my first pair of Dr. Martens this Christmas or maybe early next year or whenever my wallet is willing to do so (hoping for blessings to come in =D).

Dr Martens Concept Flagship Store in the Philippines

Dr. Martens, a famous UK shoe/boot brand since 1960, is now here in the Philippines! The Dr. Martens concept flagship store, which stayed true to its original British roots with raw brick walls, warm wood flooring and furniture and fixtures that adds to the ambiance of the place and having the store contained within a solid steel shipping container at the very center of The Fort Strip Plaza, is just amazing!
Seeing international brands --- Dr. Martens, Forever 21, Louis Vuitton and a lot more --- slowly penetrating the Philippine fashion scene is something I look forward to because it means more and more Filipinos are becoming conscious with how and "WHAT" they are wearing. Though as international brands get bigger here, let us not forget that we should support our own brands and designers as they bring a lot to the table. :)
Below are some photos from my camera phone during the Dr. Martens Launch:

Clear the Way to Total 3

I am very particular when it comes to the products I use for my body and my skin especially with my hair because of the evident signs of balding, which really depresses me most of the time GENES! :| but when I started trying out the New CLEAR Men, I felt more confident with myself because of the airy feel that I get from it that reduces the oiliness of my scalp and making my hair more suave.
Product 1
Like me,  the country’s most sought-after leading man, Piolo Pascual turns to New CLEAR Men to give him that ravishing style. Shiny, healthy hair that’s dandruff-free makes Piolo a standout and die-hard female fans would do anything just to run their fingers through his hair.

“It gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing that I can face my fans with confidence,” Piolo shared. “I don’t have to constantly check for signs of dandruff and falling hair, thanks to CLEAR Men.”
clear-men's range

CLEAR works where no stylist can go! It is specially formulated to zero in on the scalp where hair problems occur. If not nourished properly, the scalp becomes dry, itchy and flaky. Not only that; Hair lacks that shimmer and strength, making hair fall becomes apparent. For someone like actress Bea Alonzo who’s always in the public eye, being caught with dandruff is big no-no. Neither can she afford to have falling hair.

“I’ve had the chance to work with some of the best hairstylists in the country. Even with their expert help, it’s still different if you have healthy, manageable hair,” Bea declared. “Stylists can only do so much to make hair look its best in front of the camera. Good thing I have CLEAR shampoo who does the all the hard work for me.”
clear-women's range
Together with New CLEAR for Women, New CLEAR Men delivers the knock-out TOTAL 3 results that men and women look for in their shampoo –No Dandruff. No Dryness. Less Hair Fall for Women and No Dandruff. No Itch. Less Hair Fall for Men. CLEAR gives more that any other shampoo brands can offer that is why I choose CLEAR, you should too!

“It was CLEAR then, it is CLEAR now”, says Piolo. “Why switch? Dito na ako sa only shampoo that has given my hair and scalp all the best care it deserves”, adds Bea.

IMG_4217IMG_4221IMG_4229
The Genuine Thermos brand has been around since 1904 and it is highly sought-after because of its sturdiness and its capability to retain the heat and/or coldness of your beverage for a long period of time.
IMG_4234IMG_4259
With their latest addition, the Thermos Premium Stainless Cookware, it's now easier to cook your food and it is all because of its 5-layer design containing stainless steel and aluminum, which makes it conduct heat faster. The Thermos Premium Stainless Cookware also makes everything healthier because of its very unique lid that traps the nutrients of your food.

With Chef Nino Laus of NINYO Fusion Cuisine (at Katipunan), they demonstrated the benefits of using the Thermos Premium Stainless Cookware through a video recipe presentation.
