Starbucks 2012 Planner

Let’s take a break from all the glamorous clothes and bright lights of the on-going Philippine Fashion week and remember that Christmas is just around the corner. Well you would really know that Christmas is near when you are starting to collect Starbucks stickers for the very sought-after planner. I tell you, the Starbucks 2012 planner is the best one yet! But before that, I'll hold it off a little bit longer and show you the evolution of the Starbucks planner since it started in 2004.

For the 2012 planner of Starbucks, the materials used and design reflect Starbucks Shared Planet. Starbucks Shared Planet is Starbucks commitment to doing business in ways that are good to each other and the planet. Its three pillars include ethical sourcing, environmental stewardship and community involvement. With the first time ever of having 5 different covers (Poplar, Bamboo, Cherry, Spruce, and Oak). Yes, each design represents a specific wood because of the hard bound exterior of the planner is made from engineered or artificial wood --- Poplar being the lightest and Oak the darkest.
Each planner comes with a very chic pouch, a bookmark and nine different coupons that can be redeemed at all Starbucks stores in the Philippines in 2012.

A customer can avail of a Starbucks Christmas traditions planner promo card starting November 3, 2011 and collect stickers from November 3, 2011 to January 8, 2012. One sticker is awarded for each Starbucks beverage purchase. A customer now has two options in collecting stickers to redeem one (1) Limited Edition Starbucks Coffee 2012 Planner.

Option 1: nine (9) Christmas beverages plus eight (8) core beverages except bottled drinks = 17 stickers
Option 2: 23 core beverages except bottled drinks = 23 stickers
L-R: Bamboo, Oak, Cherry

By the way, I got the Cherry one because its a great balance between the light and the dark. You, which one will you be getting?

wow. just wow on the collection.
i'd like to have the Oak one.
since Starbucks stopped piggybacking a charitable institution or two along with the collection, i also stopped supporting it. but the pretty pouches that come along with every journal seem an irresistible must-have. hmmm....

What's the shade that comes with the gray pouch? Does the poplar comes with an orange-like pouch?
