Starbucks Launches New Breakfast Food Items ~ ONEstyle

Last month, Starbucks Philippines launched their new set of Hot Lunch Sandwiches, which are continuously gaining favorites from the public Ultimate Grilled Cheese FTW! so if you have not tried any of the lunch sandwiches, you should because you would definitely fall in love. But for this month, on September 13, 2011 to be exact, they are introducing again another set of food selection but this time customers can enjoy their morning beverage with new breakfast items. Bloggers were invited to taste the new breakfast items at Starbucks' newly opened heritage concept store at J.P. Laurel Building located at Roxas Boulevard, Manila City.

FRENCH TOAST - PHP 85

It is the perfect start to your busy day - 2 slices of moist and buttery bread served with Maple flavored syrup. French toast is one of the “happy foods” that brings a smile to everyone’s face. Best served warm. (Available in all Starbucks locations except in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo and Naga)

ROASTED CHICKEN EGG CUP TOAST - PHP 90

A crispy whole wheat bread cup filled with flavorful cream egg custard and cubes of slowly roasted chicken fillet seasoned with Italian herbs. Delicious served hot or cold.

BANANA CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT TART - PHP 95

This sandwich is so hard to resist. Because when you combine a slice of Spam, creamy scrambled egg layered with melted American Cheddar cheese on artisan cornmeal bread, you get a simple but mouth-watering sandwich.

TURKEY & CHICKEN HAM, EGG WHITE AND EMMENTHAL ON WHOLE WHEAT CORNMEAL BREAD - PHP 110

If you want a flavorful sandwich but with less fat, this savory breakfast sandwich is for you. It is made with slices of turkey and chicken ham, Emmenthal cheese and egg white on a toasty warmed whole wheat cornmeal bread.

VIGAN LONGANIZA, EGG, AND MOZZARELLA ON WHOLE WHEAT PANDESAL - PHP 110

A famous Filipino breakfast made into a gourmet sandwich. We combined garlicky, spicy, tangy and salty Vigan longaniza with tomato salsa and mozzarella cheese on a warm whole wheat Pandesal.

Starbucks new vegetarian sandwich has everything you need for the day. A crusty warm artisan rye bread stuffed with a delicious blend of cheese, spinach, artichoke, mushrooms, garlic and onions. A vegetarian’s delight!

After tasting everything, my first choice is the Vigan Longanisa, Egg and Mozzarella on Whole Wheat Pandesal then the Spinach, Artichoke, Muchroom and Mozzarella on Rye Bread as my second and my third would be the Turkey & Chichen Ham, Egg White and Emmenthal on Whole Wheat but you should try all of their breakfast sandwiches because they're all so yummy! You should also try their French Toast, which goes perfectly with the Starbucks Anniversary Blend because the sweetness of the French Toast lessens the heaviness and the big flavor of the coffee. The big body of the coffee is actually due to the aging, for 3 to 5 years, done to the Indonesian beans used.
