Starbucks Philippines is coming out with a new set of food selection on August 9, which means all the sandwiches that they are serving now that you crave for will no longer be available on the morning of August 9. Definitely I will be visiting Starbucks more often now just to buy and devour on my favorite sandwich, Chicken Buffalo Bleu Cheese YUM!,while I still can and of course paired with my favorite hancrafted drink of all time, Dark Mocha Frappuccino blended beverage.
A sinfully delicious gooey grilled cheese sandwich coupled with six types of cheeses - Gruyere, Emmenthal, Feta, Provolone, Mozzarella and cheddar with sliced of Hungarian sausage and subtly seasoned with roasted garlic and Italian herbed butter on bread. A classic ultimate comfort food.
Juicy roasted chicken breast fillet tossed with aromatic pesto mayo sauce and Shiitake mushroom topped with melted Emmenthal and cheddar cheese on grilled flat bread. This is a returning favorite!
The Beef Brisket
Slices of juicy beef brisket covered with caramelized onions and oozing Emmenthal cheese melted on chewy and crusty bread spread with Dijon mustard.
Roasted Vegetables on Flat Bread
A healthy vegetarian sandwich with Mediterranean vegetables marinated in Italian spices drizzled with mild chili dressing on grilled flat bread.
The Clubhouse
(Available in all Starbucks locations except in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo and Naga)
This sandwich is stuffed with tender roasted moist chicken breast and pickle relish mixed in mayo mustard dressing, juicy sliced tomato, tasty slices of honey ham, cheese slices and greens on toasted flat cranberry bread.
Tuna Waldorf on Raisin Walnut Bread
(Available in all Starbucks locations except in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo and Naga)
A classic mouthwatering tuna salad tossed with red and green apples, roasted chopped walnuts, crunchy celery in yogurt mayo dressing topped with hard-boiled eggs, served in a warm sweet raisin walnut bread.
Tuna Melt on Rye Bread
(Available in Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo and Naga only)
A juicy pairing of hearty healthy tuna salad and creamy melted cheese on a toasted Rye bread topped with oozing melted mozzarella then seasoned with Spanish paprika. Substantial and satisfying.
I'm so lucky I got the chance to taste all the sandwiches specially the Tuna Melt because the next time I want to have some Tuna Melt, I need to go to the nearest provincial branch which is Baguio! So if you are at any provincial branches (Baguio, Boracay, Bacolod, Cebu, CDO, Davao, Iloilo and Naga) grab the chance to experience it! :) All sandwiches are valued at Php140.00.

I wonder if this attempt in getting more people to go to their stores can somehow make up for the loss in income from their no-smoking policy.
To anonymous: The launching of Starbucks' new sandwiches is a yearly event they do. :)And it is not related to the no-smoking policy which I haven't heard of yet :)
Then that means you're not a regular starbucks customer and are probably (note I said probably) just a blogger paid (or rewarded in some way) to make their press releases seem more personal.
Just so you know, all starbucks stores in the Philippines, whether with a designated smoking area or not, have been made into non smoking stores since June 27. It was announced officially a couple of weeks before that. As I said, their business has dropped measurably since. Why not give them a call and ask them? I'd be curious to find out if they'd tell you the truth.
That might even be a good topic for your next posting and will probably get your site more hits. But then again, it might not get you invited to next year's sampling.
To anonymous: ok :) thank you for your comments and suggestions.
To anonymous: Let's be positive it’s not the first time Starbucks did that No Smoking Policy so more or less they know what the consequences would be and after all we are the one you will benefit from it unless you are a smoker yourself.
Finding out how much they lose in profit because of the said policy is not our problem
Yes it's not the first time, they had closed some smoking areas before when they renovated those stores. But smokers Iike me had other starbucks stores to move to. Now, it's a nationwide ban, we can no longer enjoy the simple pleasure of a cup of coffee with a few cigarettes at our favorite starbucks store.
From what I can tell, and you should check it out for yourself, those formerly smoking areas are not being occupied by non smokers anyway. In qc, ortigas, makati, bonifacio, the outdoor seats are mostly empty each time i pass by, which is pretty much everyday. Compare that to just over a month ago when the smoking areas would always be full and you'd even see people waiting in line for seats to free up at the smoking area, which by the way, has never been the case inside the store with the non smokers.
The point I want to make is simply, there is now a measurable drop in their sales after this new policy. They're actually making less money. Maybe they thought the smokers would continue to buy and just take it out, but that's not what happened.
So all I want is for them to bring back the smoking areas so we can all peacefully coexist and enjoy our starbucks with or without a cigarette, in our separate areas. At the same time, starbucks sales should go back to their regular levels, and even higher.
